This volunteer opportunity perfectly combines digital marketing and oral history storytelling. You will act as a key multimedia strategist to help promote and document Radio Boise’s 15-year legacy. 
Key Responsibilities & Scope
  • Digital Outreach: Craft engaging copy, produce visual graphics, and create video segments tailored to boost the station's online presence. 
  • Web Development: Assist with website copy, layout improvements, and overall digital platform maintenance. 
  • 15th Anniversary Project: Conduct interviews with longtime employees and volunteer programmers, weaving their stories into feature content that highlights the history of "people-powered radio." 
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in video production and graphic design (using tools like Adobe Suite or Canva).
  • Experience with content management systems (WordPress) and website copywriting.
  • Strong communication skills with an interest in local media, community broadcasting, and interviewing

** This is a non-paid volunteer staff position. As volunteer staff, you will be be oriented to the Radio Boise workplace like any other worker, informed of your rights and Radio Boise's workplace policies, expectations. Radio Boise places a priority on making all team members feel welcome and appreciated.
