Our Fall Radiothon is just around the corner, and we are looking for a dedicated volunteer to step into a vital, short-term role: Food Coordinator.
Radiothon is a high-energy time at the station, and keeping our hard-working on-air hosts and volunteers fed is a top priority! This is a standalone role for this event only, making it a great way to dive into the Radiothon excitement without a long-term commitment.
As the Food Coordinator, you would:
Reach out to local businesses and restaurants to solicit food donations.
Help to direct others to reach out to local businesses and restaurants.
Coordinate the schedule of food deliveries or pickups to ensure we have meals throughout the event.
Serve as the main point of contact for our generous food donors.
This role is perfect for someone who loves Radio Boise, enjoys connecting with our local community, and is comfortable making outreach calls or emails. This could be shared with with one or two others to lighten the load.
