Radio Boise is looking for a detail-oriented volunteer to assist the UW Coordinator with scheduling underwriting announcements for daily broadcasting.

What are underwriting announcements?

Underwriting announcements are non-commercial educational announcements about the various local businesses (AKA underwriters) that support us. These underwriters play a vital role in keeping Radio Boise alive and on the airwaves–whether that’s through monetary support or special trades that greatly benefit the station.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Each of our underwriters pays to have their announcement broadcasted a specific number of times per week at specific times of day. With our underwriter base ever-growing, we need to offload some administrative tasks, including announcement scheduling. The UW Coordinator Assistant will be responsible for taking on two days of announcement scheduling per week, in accordance with each underwriter’s contract.
